A quick recap of Survivor All-Stars: Episode 7.

S8 Guest Column:

I’ve decided that every title for each of my columns from here on out will be Big Tom quotes. The man is hilarious.

Colby Donaldson, runner-up from the Australian Outback, was sent backing thanks to Lex van den Berghe. Colby was an unsuspecting victim, yet he left with class and no ill feelings.

Jerri is beginning to get on her tribe’s nerves, Shii Ann, more specifically. I really don’t care for Shii Ann, and if Colby’s comments about both women are any indication, she has nothing to gripe about.

Reward and Immunity were warped into one challenge this week as Chapera defeated Mogo Mogo. Once again, Ethan made a mistake and cost his team the win.

After all these challenges we’ve seen so far, and after all the times we’ve seen Ethan do something to screw it up, it’s no wonder Lex kicked the crap out of him in Africa.

Chapera partied on a yacht with Kathy, whom they stole for the day. I’m getting sick of watching the Chapera tribe party all the time. Yes, they display some funny antics, but it’s getting old.

Lex, Shii Ann, Jerri, Colby, and Ethan were left to go to Tribal Council. Lex organized a coup on the Colbster so he could get rid of this competition in the individual challenges, which should be coming up real soon.

Colby was a monster in Australia when it came to challenges. I have no doubt that he could have gone on an immunity tear.

I don’t know if this is a good move on Lex’s part her not. I kind of think he should have kept Colby around so he would be shielded. If they end up going head to head with Chapera in voting, they would’ve more than likely targeted Colby before Lex, now that might not happen. Oh well, we shall see.

So Jerri finally got her revenge on Colby. Good for her, but unfortunately, I don’t think she has much longer left in the game.

Sorry for the shortness of this week’s column. We’ll get back on track next week.

THE HIGHWAY COUNTDOWN

1. Tom Buchanan – Big Tom is in the right place on the powerhouse tribe.

2. Kathy Vavrick-O’Brien – Kathy has the change to balance association with two tribes. Not bad at all.

3. Lex van den Berghe – He is in full control of Mogo Mogo.

4. Rob Mariano – He is in full control of Chapera, or so it seems.

5. Amber Brkich – She is the horrible cancer that will infect this series win she wins.

6. Rupert Boneham – He’s doing alright right now, but he’s in a precarious position.

7. Jenna Lewis – She seems to be fitting in great with the Chapera women.

8. Alicia Calaway – She’s the odd woman out on Chapera.

9. Shii Ann Huang – She’s set with Lex and Kathy. She’ll ride their coattails as long as she can.

10. Ethan Zohn – He’s on the outside of the Mogo Mogo alliance.

11. Jerri Manthey – It seems like the old Jerri is coming out, and
