Filming of Survivor: Pearl Islands, begins in Panama.

Survivor 7 Production Begins

The production of Survivor 7, a Pirate themed edition of Survivor which will take place in the Pearl Islands of Panama, began yesterday (6/23) according to sources.

The headquarters for the Survivor 7 production staff, is said to be at the Contadora Resort Hotel on Playa Larga on Isla Contadora in Panama, according to Dan Bollinger and his crew at the Survivor Maps website. S7 production crews are said to have been recently observed building structures on the small privately owned island of Isla Bartolomé, which may be the location of the Tribal Council.

Fourteen islands in the archipelago Las Perlas, are said to be used for the S7 filming and production, which will possibly be filmed June 23 through August 23, 2003. Survivor: Pearl Islands, will make its debut sometime this Fall on CBS.
